OLIVE READ IS A FILMMAKER FROM THE BAY AREA, CURRENTLY BASED IN WASHINGTON DC STUDYING FILM AND TELEVISION PRODUCTION AT HOWARD UNIVERSITY

HER COLORFUL AND ECLECTIC LENS OF THE WORLD ALLOWS HER TO CREATE FUN AND HUMOROUS FILMS THAT DIVE INTO THE COMPLEX IMAGINATIONS AND RELATIONSHIPS THAT SURROUND US.

AS A MULTI-FACETED ARTIST WITH EXPERIENCE IN DIRECTING, WRITING, PRODUCTION DESIGN, AND MUSIC, SHE ASPIRES TO WORK IN FILM AND ART DIRECTION IN ALL SECTORS OF MEDIA. INCLUDING MOVIES, TELEVISION, AND MUSIC VIDEO.

TODAY HER FILMS HAVE BEEN SCREENED AT FESTIVALS LIKE THE MILL VALLEY FILM FESTIVAL AND AWARDED BY THE PROGRAM, YOUNGARTS, AND THE STUDENT WORLD IMPACT FILM FESTIVAL.
